5. Paste the yellowish-orange felt over then cut out.
6. Frame it with balsa wood stick.
7. Put the piece of rice paper over each side.
8. Testing out the lighting effect before pasting to the base.
9. A box is used as the base of the table lamp to support the entire lamp.
10. Finally, make a package to protect the table lamp.

“The Hive” is inspired by nature patterns which are hexagonal honeycomb from the beehive. The reason why the honeycomb is in the form of hexagon because can hold more honey and sustains the hive. We mimic the honeycomb shape to with  a repetition of the pattern on the table lamp that create a bold yet delicate looks.

Honeycombs can add a touch of coziness to a more traditional place and  pump   up energy in a modern space. Honeycombes are a vibrant pattern that  “feels” organized and efficient even though it has such an edge of intricate design. The honeycomb is a timeless design pattern-both sweet and retro, high style and casual, relaxed and rigid in form.

This table lamp is considered a diffuse lighting. Diffuse light is produced by extensive areas that emit light. In interior spaces, diffuse light can also be reflected from illuminated ceiling and walls.

This produces very uniformly, soft lighting, which illuminates the entire space and makes objects visible but produces reduced shadows or reflections.
